Anti-Money Laundering Policy

Thomas Love Estates Ltd ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to preventing money laundering and complying with the UK's Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations. This policy outlines our approach to identifying, preventing, and reporting suspicious activities.
The purpose of this policy is to ensure that our agency complies with the UK AML regulations, including the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, the Terrorism Act 2000, and the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds (Information on the Payer) Regulations 2017 as amended by the Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (Amendment) Regulations 2019.
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and agents of Your Property Management Agency.
Compliance Officer: Responsible for overseeing the implementation and enforcement of this policy.
Employees: Required to adhere to this policy and report any suspicious activities to the Compliance Officer.
We will conduct CDD on all new clients and periodically review existing clients to ensure compliance with AML regulations. Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) will be conducted for high-risk clients.
Monitoring: Regularly monitor transactions and client activities for any signs of money laundering.
Reporting: Report any suspicious activities to the National Crime Agency (NCA) via the Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) process.
All employees will receive training on AML regulations, the identification of suspicious activities, and the procedures for reporting them.
Maintain records of all CDD, EDD, and SARs for a minimum of five years.
This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary to ensure continued compliance with UK AML regulations.
